Quick Lane Technician (Lube Technician)

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quick Lane Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance services efficiently and accurately while ensuring every vehicle meets dealership quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has prior experience in automotive maintenance and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance services
• Complete multipoint inspections and identify additional service needs
• Check and maintain fluid levels, including engine oil, coolant, transmission, and power steering
• Replace oil, air, and cabin filters as needed
• Inspect tires, brakes, and other key components for wear and safety concerns
• Properly install and secure all components, ensuring work is completed to specification
• Communicate recommended services to service advisors clearly and accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience in automotive maintenance or lube technician role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate manual transmissions preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Exposure to varying temperatures, automotive fluids, and shop conditions
• Fast-paced work environment requiring efficiency and accuracy
