Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Are you a high-energy individual who loves to stay active and be part of a winning team? At J. Allen Automotive, the Lot Porter is the glue that holds our Collision and Service departments together. This isn't just a "behind-the-scenes" job; you’ll be interacting daily with everyone from our customers and technicians to our leadership team.

If you take pride in a job well done and want to work in an environment where your hard work is visible and valued, we want to hear from you.

The Role: Keeping Us in Motion

As a Lot Porter, you ensure our workflow remains seamless. Your primary goal is to keep our production moving and our facility looking sharp, all while providing top-tier service to our clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Customer Experience: Safely deliver customers to their destinations and transport vehicles to sublet vendors or back to their owners.

  • Production Support: Move vehicles efficiently between intake, storage, and repair bays to help our technicians hit production goals.

  • Facility Pride: Maintain a clean and professional environment by managing trash removal, sweeping paint/production areas, and organizing storage spaces.

  • Inventory & Compliance: Save and tag warranty parts for storage and ensure all hazardous waste disposal follows safety and environmental regulations.

  • Team Collaboration: Act as a "right-hand" person for our Collision Manager and Service Associates to keep the daily operations running smoothly.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A Service-First Attitude: You have genuine "people skills" and a desire to help others.

  • Reliability & Drive: A positive attitude and the willingness to be a true team player.

  • Technical Basics: You must have a valid Driver’s License, be insurable, and possess the ability to drive a standard (manual) transmission.

  • Physical Stamina: You’re comfortable being on your feet, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED; or 1–2 years of related experience.

Compensation & Benefits

At J. Allen Automotive, we believe in rewarding dedication. Our comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees includes:

  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.

  • Financial Security: 401(k) Retirement Plan to help you plan for the future.

  • Work-Life Balance: Paid Time Off (PTO) to ensure you have time to recharge.

  • Supportive Environment: Work alongside the best in the business in a fast-paced, rewarding industry.
