Warranty Admin- J. Allen Automotive

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Process all maintenance, warranty, port and extended warranty claims
• Keep team up to date on warranty policies 
• Keep up to date on all the manufacturer’s recalls and bulletins 
• Completes the documents required to process the claims, forwards them to the manufacturer/supplier
• Follows up on claims, to ensure prompt payment 
• Work schedules 2141, 2142, 2143, 2145, 2200 weekly 
• Report to appointed Service Lead on updates for each schedule weekly
• Analyze and review credits
• Analyze denied claims and, if applicable, re-submit them as soon as possible or obtain authorization to cancel them

• Communicate with Service Leads on consistent clerical errors with service writers 
• Ensure required documents are complete in compliance with company regulations and standards 
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Required to attend staff meetings and training classes as requested
• Maintain professional appearance 
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations
• Maintain up most company confidentiality
• Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions 

PAY DESCRIPTION:  

Starts at $15.00 an hour or can be based on experience.

Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.

Summary:

Administers, processes, authorizes and follows up on all maintenance, warranty, port, extended warranty claims. Is responsible for the installation and maintenance of internal communications and information systems, as well as the related equipment.
