Accounting Administrator – General Accounting

Job Summary
The Accounting Administrator supports dealership accounting operations, including vehicle inventory, deal processing, payroll, and account reconciliation. This role helps ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while providing administrative support to leadership across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain vehicle inventory, including stocking units, assigning stock numbers, and posting inventory-related charges
• Finalize (cap) vehicle deals, process trade-in payoffs, and maintain accurate deal records
• Administer payroll, including verifying time, commissions, bonuses, and ensuring compliance with policies
• Reconcile inventory and payable schedules, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Assist with month-end processes and maintain accurate financial records
• Provide administrative and accounting support, maintain organized files, and assist with special projects

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of dealership accounting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Google Docs and dealership systems (Dealertrack preferred)

Pay & Schedule

• Starting at $16.00/hour (Rate is negotiable based on prior automotive experience)
• Monday- Friday
• Performance evaluations conducted annually
