Vehicle Acquisition Specialist

The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in growing dealership inventory by acquiring customer vehicles directly. At J. Allen Automotive, our associates provide an outstanding customer experience, expertly managing expectations and maintaining clear communication throughout the We’ll Buy Your Car process. This role supports our promise of delivering a check within an hour for qualifying vehicle purchases. This position offers flexible hours, hourly compensation, and a bonus for every vehicle purchased.

Job Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming leads via J. Allen Automotive’s website, third-party platforms, phone, and in-person inquiries
• Utilize all available tools to identify and connect with private sellers
• Schedule appointments for in-store vehicle appraisals\
• Execute the We’ll Buy Your Car - Same-Day Payment process
• Review vehicle condition reports and conduct on-site inspections
• Interact with customers both in person and via phone throughout the day
• Refer trade-in customers to the sales team as appropriate

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Highly self-motivated with a goal-driven mindset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to deliver a high-quality customer experience
• Well-organized with strong follow-up skills
• Valid in-state driver’s license and a clean driving record
